COVID-19 Hosting Protocols
THANK YOU for your continued enthusiasm and support of the mission of Summer Impact Cincinnati. Health and safety are our top priorities. Though we cannot eliminate all risks, we have enacted guidelines and procedures to reduce the risk of spreading of COVID-19. Protocols will be updated as needed to reflect the most recent CDC and local health officials’ recommendations. In addition to the details on this page, all volunteers will receive instructions prior to and during their service experience. The basics are outlined below.
All deposits for 2021 dates are 100% refundable if dates are canceled by Summer Impact Cincinnati due to COVID-19 restrictions.

$300/person starts March 1, 2021
*Cost includes: work supplies and materials, lodging, continental breakfast, brown bagged lunch, and HOT dinner (except for dinner on Wednesday), worship and devotional materials, leadership from the interns, and a t-shirt.
*What isn’t included in the cost that teams will be financially responsible for: Transportation costs and meals to and from Summer Impact, street parking in Cincinnati, Wednesday dinner, activity on Wednesday evening, snacks, and activities not planned by Summer Impact team .
*Optional: extra night of lodging before or after your week of service ($15/night/person).
DEPOSIT: Group deposit is due with the application in order for spaces to be held. All deposits for 2021 dates are 100% refundable if dates are canceled by Summer Impact Cincinnati due to COVID-19 restrictions.

REFUND POLICY: There are no refunds of monies paying towards the participation of the minimum number of participants after March 1.

LODGING AVAILABLE THE DAY BEFORE OR AFTER
Are you from beyond the greater Cincinnati area? If yes, will you need overnight lodging on Saturday or Friday night? There is a $15/person charge for each additional night of lodging. Requests are subject to availability and must be made in advance. Please enclose the additional lodging fee with your final payment.
After your week is confirmed, start getting the word out to recruit your team! In recruiting, make sure to collect t-shirt size, medical and dietary needs.
Follow us on social media and encourage your team to as well to get updates, teasers, partner information, and pictures and videos from your week.
In February, you will be sent an email with a link to submit your minimum number of participants by March 1. You will be financially responsible for the minimum number of people you commit to at that time.
In the same email in February, you will receive release forms for Summer Impact Cincinnati and other partner organizations to be filled out by ALL team members (minors and adults) and returned to the team leader.
Plan to fill out group confirmation online form that will note t-shirt sizes and any dietary or medical needs for each team member, confirming extra lodging needs, and other details to be submitted with your final payment (May 3 for weeks 1-3 and June 3 for weeks 4-6).
In May, the symptom check tool to be used by each person 14 days prior to arrival will be made available.
Submit final payment for your team based on the payment schedule listed above.
